Format and Schedule
Taking place between 18th and 23rd July, the 7 franchised VCT Pacific teams not qualified for VCT Champions are competing at the Sangam Colosseum at South Korea.
Competing in Playoffs, a hybrid elimination format will decide the competition. Seeding based on Regular Season standings, has teams seeded as follows:
- 6-7th – Talon Esports, DetonatioN FM – Round 1 (Single-Elimination)
- 3-5th – Rex Regum, Global Esports, Gen.G Esports – Quarterfinals (Single-Elimination)
- 1-2nd – ZETA DIVISION, Team Secret – Upper Bracket Semifinals
In this particular format, only the Upper Bracket Semifinals and onwards is double elimination. All matches are BO3, while the Lower Final and Grand Final are BO5 where the VALORANT odds are most interesting.
As a reminder, only one team, the winner, heads to VALORANT Champions.
In this betting preview, we’ll be looking at the two opening matches as scheduled below:
July 18th 2023 – Upper Bracket Round 1

Yet, one team will walk away as the victor from this opening match up, and it seems that the esports odds favour Talon Esports heavily. Ranked higher and beating DetonatioN FocusMe 2-0 when they matched last, T1 is expected to come out on top here.
In addition, DetonatioN FocusMe faily to win a single series all season long does not help their case here.
