LaserShip/OnTrac, the largest regional e-commerce parcel carrier in the U.S. and leader in e-commerce last-mile delivery, today announced the appointment of Mike Duffy as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Mr. Duffy serves as CEO of FleetPride, the nation’s largest distributor of truck and trailer parts and service provider in the independent heavy duty aftermarket, and will remain active in the Company until his successor takes over. He has over two decades of leadership experience in distribution, retail and supply chain management.
Mr. Duffy will assume day-to-day leadership responsibilities for LaserShip/OnTrac and will succeed Mark Holifield, who has stepped down from the Board and the role of CEO.
Mark led the initial integration of LaserShip and OnTrac, setting the foundation for the business to expand as a national carrier and launching transcontinental service. “We are all incredibly grateful to Mark for his valuable contributions at an important inflection point for LaserShip/OnTrac,” said Will Manuel, Chairman of the LaserShip/OnTrac Board and Managing Director of American Securities.

As CEO of FleetPride, Mr. Duffy has overseen over 25 acquisitions and further strengthened its position in the industry. Before serving as CEO of FleetPride, Mr. Duffy was CEO of C&S Wholesale Grocers, the nation’s largest wholesale grocery distributor and eleventh largest privately held Company based on revenue. He also brings deep supply chain and leadership experience from roles earlier in his career at Cardinal Health, Gillette, and Procter & Gamble. Additionally, Mr. Duffy has served on the boards leading industry trade associations including the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA), further enhancing his expert insight into the broader industry.
Mr. Duffy’s appointment comes during a time of strong momentum for LaserShip/OnTrac. Under Mr. Holifield’s leadership, the Company experienced a significant transformation in the pursuit of becoming the pure-play coast-to-coast carrier of choice for last-mile deliveries, advancing its plans to enhance productivity and efficiency to prepare for growth, and investing in network infrastructure. This includes a new, state-of-the-art 327,000 square foot sort center in Logan Township, NJ and a planned expansion in Texas. Mr. Duffy will continue to lead LaserShip/OnTrac through this period of growth while ensuring the company continues to provide fast, reliable, coast-to-coast delivery for customers and retailers across the country.
