Flexport.org, the sustainability arm of the supply chain logistics platform of the same name, and the climate action software platform provider CHOOOSE announced November 9 that they had partnered to launch a new tool that aims to de-carbonize the global aviation sector.
The companies said that the feature, which can be accessed via Flexport’s Sustainability Dashboard, will accelerate the decarbonization of air freight by allowing customers to purchase certificates that can be applied as direct reductions against Scope 3 emissions. It will also encourage the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
