An expansion of an award-winning game
Dice Legacy: Definitive Edition on Xbox and PlayStation is an expansion of the original game, Dice Legacy, which won the accolade of “most original game” at Gamescom 2021. The Definitive Edition includes all content and scenarios from the original release, plus three major updates: Memories, Forging a Realm and A Storm is Coming, as well as the Corrupted Fates expansion pack.
A novel strategy game
We’ve seen a few strategy games that use cards as a battle device, such as Thea: The Awakening and its sequel but Dice Legacy: Definitive Edition uses another tool, and no prizes for guessing what. Yeah, dice.
Coming from Indie studio DESTINY and originally launched on PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch in 2021, this city builder blended with roguelike mechanics centres around rolling the dice to determine the outcome of your game.
As one of seven unlockable rulers, your ship has reached the shore of an uncharted continent, the mysterious Ringworld. You’ll have to roll and use your dice to gather resources, construct buildings and defend your settlement as you attempt to raise a thriving community. There are other inhabitants of the continent to make contact with and something wicked lurking in the mists beyond… Will your loyal subjects thrive, or even survive the cold winters? Their lives are in your hands, and the role of a dice.
