With regards to the format, there are three stages of competition – Group Stage, Bracket Stage and Finals.

Kicking off with the Group Stage, the event runs from 13-14th July. Here, the 40 teams are invited to compete in four groups of ten teams. Let’s take a look at the Group Draw:

Within each groups, 18 games for every team will determine how teams seed as follows, reflected in the Apex Legends odds:

• Top 20 – Winners Bracket
• Bottom 20 – Losers Bracket Round 1

Once in the bracket, on July 15th, multiple 6 game series will advance how teams move on to the Finals as follows:

• Winners Bracket – top 10 move to the Finals, the rest seed into the Losers Bracket Round 2
• Losers Bracket Round 1 – top 10 advance to the Lowers Bracket Round 2, remaining eliminated from the Playoffs
• Losers Bracket Round 2 – top 10 advance to the Finals, remaining eliminated from the Playoffs

In conclusion, the Finals take place on July 16th. The final 20 teams compete using Match Point format, with the teams from the Winners Bracket earning Advance Starting Points.
