GG.Bet and Bayes Esports Expand Live Data Partnership

Berlin-based esports data firm Bayes Esports has revealed that the company has agreed to expand its current partnership with GG.Bet, the esports betting company. The new deal will see Bayes Esports provide GG.Bet with its industry-leading live match data for a trio of top esports titles, League of Legends, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Dota 2.

While the exact financial details of the agreement were not revealed, it was disclosed that the current deal will last at least until 2024, with a decision likely to be made then between the two parties as to whether to continue with the partnership further.

Two New Live Match Data Esports Added

If you are already a customer of the aforementioned esports betting service then you will know that the site had previously offered live match data only when betting on CSGO at GG.Bet.

This new agreement with Bayes Esports will increase that coverage to include not just more live match data for CSGO betting, but for those customers who want to enjoy betting on League of Legends or Dota 2 on GG.Bet, they will now be able to enjoy live data for the first time on the site.

This is another significant move in the market from GG.Bet, who have become one of the most popular and supporting esports betting services, chiefly through their partnerships with teams such as Natus Vincere (NAVI) and Team Vitality, as well as their links with tournament organisers, such as Starladder and the PGL.

Bayes Data Sources

Bayes Esports has worked hard to develop links with a number of different esports-based organisations which supply its data. Through these links with companies like the ESL, FACEIT Group, BLAST, KRAFTON and Riot Games, the company has direct links with the companies who collect the key data.

Of course, this extensive list of data partners for Bayes means that they are well-positioned within the industry to offer live, real-time feeds of just such data for customers of betting sites, such as GG.Bet, to access this data when wagering.

Warning for Other Sportsbooks

The Chief Commercial Officer and Managing Director of Bayes Esports, Amir Mirzaee, expressed his delight at the deal with GG.Bet, while offering a cautionary warning for those companies relying on non-official data.

“We’re excited to see that top bookmakers and esports betting service providers continue to invest in official data and cutting-edge betting products for tomorrow’s user base,” he stated.

“The gap continues to widen for a long list of sportsbooks who continue to invest in unofficial data sources and will increasingly lag in product innovation and integrity standards.”
