Who are the best LoL Jungler players in 2022? Today, we will take a look at the best junglers so far in this 2022, taken from the four major regions of this competitive season. Throughout the years, the jungle role has become more and more of a pivotal playmaker, acting as a bridge for the early laning phase as well as the mid-game skirmishes. Following the meta shift caused by the durability patch, junglers are also required to have exceptional team fighting skills, as the overall game durations have gone up.

Best LoL Jungler Players in 2022

With our eyes set on Worlds 2022, let’s see which are the best talents in the jungle role. Considering how we haven’t had any international performances aside from MSI, we will mention the best-performing players in at least every major region. The junglers within the same region, however, will be ranked based on the order they appear in this list. Without further ado, let’s jump right into it!

LoL Best Junglers from the League of Legends Pro League (LPL)

Seo “Kanavi” Jin-hyeok

Starting off our list with the Chinese region, we have JDG’s Kanavi. He was already on our list last time out, following their strong performance during Spring, but the current LPL Summer Split Champions have taken it to the next up. JDG is going to Worlds as big favorites, having shown insane skirmishing and team fighting skills.

Having said that, if JDG made it to this point, a lot of the credit must go to their jungler. He’s the undisputed number one in the league and an extremely well-rounded player. He can play any type of champion: whether it’s a bruiser, tank or carry, he can deliver high levels of performance. His pathing and aggressive playstyle are what makes him so unique and stand out from the rest.

Joining JDG last year following the Griffin scandal, Kanavi wasn’t able to qualify for Worlds. This time, though, he is going to NA knowing that he has the potential and the cards to fight for the championship as the best jungler player in the world.

Lee “Tarzan” Seung-yong

Next on the list is LNG’s Esports jungler Tarzan. Formerly on the Griffin roster just like Kanavi, Tarzan was able to get used to the Chinese League faster than his fellow Korean ex-teammate.

Ever since he joined LNG in 2021, Tarzan was regarded as one of the best junglers in the LPL. His role as a “bridge” matched perfectly with his mid laner Doinb, who is known for wanting proactive plays on the map in the first stages of the game.

While LNG Esports didn’t make it LoL Worlds, Tarzan’s contribution to their run in the LPL Summer Playoffs earned him a spot on this list. It is a shame that we won’t get to see him pop off at the biggest stage of all time, but his consistency and performance did not go unnoticed this year yet again.

Gao “Tian” Tian-Liang

Tian is somewhat in a redemption arc right now. From being the 2019 World Champions to facing continuous health issues to taking a break from the competitive scene in 2021 due to overwhelming stress, Tian has returned this year to the LPL to make glory… and he’s looking like he’s back on form.

Unfortunately, that was not enough for Top Esports, as the team finished second in both spring and summer, failing to take the trophy against both RNG and JDG. This is even worse when both championships were lost in 5-game series.

Nonetheless, Top Esports have shown great consistency throughout the year and Tian has been a great contributor to their success. He might not be the flashiest guy on earth or the big carry of the team, but you can feel his presence and utility every single game which puts him among the best lol jungler players of this season.

Zhao “Jiejie” Li-Jie

Jiejie at first wasn’t supposed to be on this list. His regular summer split performance wasn’t that great, especially when you’re expected to see World champion material.

With that being said, his return to form during the summer split playoffs have completely overturned my opinion on him. He not only returned to his starting position, but he was also able to lock EDG for Worlds, destroying RNG in the LPL Regional Finals. He took an insane 32.0 KDA, making plays all over the map in all three games and overshadowing Wei in the process.

The 2021 League of Legends Worlds winners have always relied on Jiejie’s proactivity, hoping to impact the map as much as possible in the first few minutes. With how the current meta is right now, his strength make his value go up even more.

Despite EDG coming to Worlds as the 3^rd seed from the LPL, they are still a team to watch out. Based on what we’ve seen so far, they might be a tier below TES and JDG, but it should’ve been the same last year. Yet, things didn’t go as expected… If Jiejie is on form, you can be sure that EDG will be up there to fight with the best junglers in the world.

LoL Best Junglers from the League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK)

Han “Peanut” Wang-ho

We’ve seen how strong the LPL junglers pool is this year. In comparison, LCK doesn’t have that many strong jungle players and the only one who has proved and convinced enough to have the same individual value as the Chinese counterparts is arguably Peanut.

The former SKT T1 player had a strong season in 2021, which earned him a starting spot on the Gen.G roster. By playing in such a stacked roster, Gen.G was bound to success regardless of how he performed. Having said that, he was still able to prove his worth and telling the world that the young prospect people remembered from the SKT days is back.

Intelligent pathings, good ganks, clears and a wide champion pool. What could you possibly ask more from a jungler? Maybe the ability to be a carry player, but Gen.G doesn’t need that. They already have Ruler and Chovy. No matter how you look at it, Peanut is the perfect fit for a team like Gen.G and one of the best League of Legends players of this 2022 season.

Based on their dominance in the LCK this summer, all eyes will be on their performance against the Chinese powerhouses. Will this be the year Korea returns to glory and Gen.G become World Champions?

Moon “Oner” Hyeon-joon

Oner has established himself as one of the strongest junglers in the LCK. After earning the starting spot on the T1 roster, this year he kept on improving himself and becoming a core player of the lineup, with insane consistency.

In one way or the other, I feel like Oner was held back by some of the drafts that the team went for. T1 has had this issue throughout the whole split, but it stood out even more during the summer playoffs. I think that with better drafts, Oner would’ve probably showcased higher levels of play.

Compared to other junglers, his playstyle is shifted more towards carry or bruiser champions. He’s super comfortable on champions like Xin Zhao, Lee Sin and Viego so if those manage to be meta again by Worlds, we might see Oner rise up the ranks among the lol best junglers in 2022.

Being a member of one of the best League of Legends teams in the world that is T1, Oner will also have to deal with enormous amount of pressure that comes from its fans. Hoping that it will not hinder his gameplay…

Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu

DAMWON Kia lost their throne to both T1 and Gen.G this year. They were the team that split the top two from the rest and found themselves in a grey area where they belonged to neither of those.

Nevertheless, Canyon is still one of the best jungler player in League of Legends. And to a certain extent, I feel like he had to sacrifice himself more than the other two Korean players we mentioned above.

DK doesn’t have a bot lane that is as strong as Gen.G or T1’s and has had ups and downs up in the top lane with both Nuguri and Burdol. Despite this, Canyon was still doing his job and adjusting whenever needed. He was also the jungler taking the most risks, playing 15 unique junglers across the regular split. In comparison, Oner and Peanut played respectively 10 and 9 junglers.

Having the flexibility and the confidence of playing champions are extremely valuable qualities. I personally think that this year’s DK line up was quite a substantial downgrade. However, if we have to say someone who definitely did not “fade away”, that player is definitely Canyon.

LoL Best Junglers from the League of Legends European Championship (LEC)

Now that we covered the LPL and the LCK, it’s time to take a look which are the best western LoL best junglers 2022, starting with the LEC.

Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski

Jankos had a rough 2021 season, despite playing with what was considered a super team back then. His performance was directly influenced by the team’s overall performance that was disappointing to say the least.

This year, though, the “First Blood King” has returned to his prime form. As one of the big veterans of the LEC, it is a delight to see him fighting for the top in all the LoL tournaments he participated in 2022.

With G2 and Jankos locking a spot at the Worlds Championship, this will be the golden chance for him to take EU to the top and replicate that bittersweet 2019 final. If he manages, Jankos will also enter in the elite group of the best junglers in the world.

Iván “Razork” Martín Díaz

Razork can have a similar argument to the one we had earlier about Jiejie. He didn’t have a great Spring split, but the guy has kept Fnatic alive in the last few weeks during the LEC summer playoffs.

The general idea is that Razork has found his comfort picks in the current meta and has found his role within the team at the same time. His growth and the overall consistency the team has had allowed them to get the spot at Worlds.

With this in mind, Razork has always been a player with extremely high highs contrasted with lower lows. It will be crucial for him to deliver at the international stages if he wants to make another step in becoming one of the best lol jungler players.

LoL Best Jungler from the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS)

Robert “Blaber” Huang

Blaber is the last jungler of our list. We already mentioned him as one of the best ones from the NA LCS last time out, and he has managed to defend this “title” despite the arrival of Inspired from the LEC this year.

What’s special about Blaber is his flexibility and ability to adapt to any meta within a short amount of time. Thanks to his mechanics and high level of micro play, he can quickly make the best out of any champion he picks up.

Cloud9 had a decent summer split but have really thrived during playoffs. They seem to be the best team NA can send this year yet again, as Blaber has the chance to fight with the other best lol jungler players in the world.

Junglers are considered one of the key roles within a League of Legends Worlds qualified teams, especially from a strategic point of view. The list has included the best ones from each major region, but there are many more that might make an exploit at Worlds. Who is your dark horse player?
